With the support of UNOCHA REPID is providing primary and mother and child health facilities

The proposed intervention would also help in increasing access of estimated 1,000 pregnant and lactating, women to the reproductive health care and MCH services through the Mobile and Static Health Units. The package of services for pregnant and lactating women include:

  • Antenatal and post-natal check-ups and provision of essential medicines and guidance by Lady Doctors/ Lady.
  • Health Visitors/ Female Nurses through MHUs/SHUs within the host villages of target IDP women.
  • Supplementation of iron and folic acid to target women.
  • Timely guidance to pregnant women about the status of their pregnancy and subsequent actions the pregnant women need to take to have safe delivery.
  • Provide referral support to the women having obstetric complications.
  • Provide counseling to the target women on importance of nutrition, maternal and child health, vaccination and personal hygiene.
  • Nutrition assistance
