 It is a long-term continual process of development that involves all stakeholders; including ministries, local authorities, non-governmental organizations, professionals, community members, academics and more. Capacity building is human, scientific, technological, organizational, and institutional and resource capabilities. The goal of capacity building is to tackle problems related to policy and methods of development, while considering the potential, limits and needs of the people of the country concerned. The capacity building not only takes place on an individual level, but an institutional level and the societal level.

capacity development or capacity building is development,  that  focuses on understanding the obstacles that inhibit people, governments, international organizations and non-governmental organizations from realizing their developmental goals while enhancing the abilities that will allow them to achieve measurable and sustainable results.

Aims & Objectives:

Due to poor socio-economic conditions prevailing throughout FATA, local public particularly and private also in generally has weak capacities to deal the challenges of overall poverty, health, education, ethnic conflict resolution and economic uplifting of the local communities. Human , institutional & social sector  strengthening is our priority.

REPID aims to contribute & initiates the role of capacity building in the areas of FATA & Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to provide healthy services to the region.


REPID is working with the local communities to build their capacities in properly managing their natural livelihood resources. Under this program the local communities are organized and their skills are developed in natural resource management and sustainable livelihoods including introducing modern and appropriate technologies, strengthening indigenous environment- friendly technologies and practices as well as building the capacities of the local communities in alternative livelihoods. REPID also helping local departments to build their skills in proper management of common illnesses and injuries, timely provision of PHC services, enhancing the teaching skills of teachers, and also in promotion of personal hygiene.
